After making your purchase, your institution will automatically be issued with an institutional exhibition license for each product (Program) you are purchasing.

A copy of this license will be mailed to you with your order.

The institutional exhibition license when issued entitles your organization to exhibit the Program(s) you have purchased to non-paying audiences, library lending rights, and a lifetime replacement should your copy become unusable. (You must return the defective tape or DVD to qualify.)

All DCTV Programs are protected by U.S. Copyright Law. Duplication and/or commercial exhibition to fee-paying audiences are strictly prohibited.

Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV) is a not-for-profit media center dedicated to providing access to low-cost or free professional training in all aspects of digital media and production and post-production facilities to independent artists and underserved communities, particularly inner-city youth. The proceeds from all sales go directly towards sustaining DCTV's valuable programs.

In the fall of 2000, Smackdown Your Vote! helped to register 150,000 new voters in a little more than two months.  This astonishing success was followed by a collaboration between the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and more than 25 youth groups and community organizations.  Together they produced the first-ever Digital Youth Town Meeting, the Access Democracy: Smackdown Your Vote! Youth Forum, which employed video conferencing and internet access to bring together young voters throughout New York City's five boroughs to speak with NYC mayoral candidate Mark Green and a representative of Mayor-elect Mike Bloomburg about the issues young voters faced in the November 6, 2002 election.  The forum created by Access Democracy: Smackdown Your Vote! provides an excellent example of how to reengage and empower youth by giving them opportunities to participate in the public dialogue about civic affairs.
