End of summer raffle for the PRO-TV youth
Drawing: Nov. 6th 2009
Your raffle contribution goes directly to support the operating costs of DCTV’s PRO-TV professional media training program for disadvantaged youth, including instructor salaries; video cameras; edit stations and software; hard drives; flash drives; and videotapes. Purchase tickets for $25 each, and you will be entered into our November 6th 2009 drawing. Your first $25 raffle ticket purchase will also buy you a new DCTV membership or give you an automatic renewal of your existing membership. All additional ticket purchases increase your chances of winning one of the below prizes.
1st Prize
One week (seven days) of Post-Production at DCTV’s Final Cut Pro Edit Suite with full tech support. ($1,000 value)

A Private Screening (first look!) of new documentary-works-in-progress by DCTV’s acclaimed producers/directors and two award-winning PRO-TV student films in our 3rd floor screening room with wine and hors d’oeuvres for you & seven others. This special evening includes an appearance by Emmy Award-winning directors Jon Alpert & Matthew O’Neill and student filmmakers. (Priceless!)
2nd Prize
Two free rental days (4 shifts) – choose from our inventory of Panasonic AG DVX100 MiniDV to the Panasonic AG-HVX200 tapeless 3CCD cameras. Package includes Sennheiser shotgun mic, batteries, XLR cable, bag, and a P2 card and firewire cable if applicable. Or sign up for any DCTV Workshop for free ($80-$250 value). DCTV Raffle Rules:
1.) HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To participate in the "DCTV RAFFLE" add tickets above to cart and continue through the checkout process. Your registration details will be captured with this purchase.
2.) ELIGIBILITY: anyone is eligible to participate in the raffle
3.) ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATION: Each raffle ticket purchaser will automatically be given either a new DCTV membership or a year’s renewal.
4.) NOTIFICATION: DCTV will notify raffle ticket winners “THE WINNER(S)” by either phone, email, or other contact provided. if no contact is provided, DCTV will make its best effort to locate THE WINNER within a reasonable time frame. If after this time frame, no contact is made, DCTV will award the prize to the next person in line from the drawing.
5.) PRIZE AWARDS: prizes (as described above) will be award to THE WINNER only. Prizes are NOT transferable to any third party. If THE WINNER declines the prize, the next person on the winning list will be awarded the prize.
6.) EDIT SUITE PRIZE: Note that Tech Support is included, but an editor is not included in the prize. “DCTV’s Final Cut Pro Edit Suite” refers to Edit Suites C or D and not the Edit Suite B (mastering suite). An upgrade to the mastering suite is available for an additional $500.
7.) DISCLAIMER/PUBLICATION: By participating in the DCTV raffle, participant (i) assumes all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participant's participation in the DCTV Raffle and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the offer, and (ii) releases Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising agencies from any such liability. By accepting the prizes, Raffle Ticket holders agree to accept email & "snail" mail correspondence from the Sponsors, but are free to "unsubscribe" whenever they choose.
8.) ADDITIONAL RULES: In the event that the DCTV Raffle is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, that is beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right to immediately terminate the raffle.
9.) PRIVACY CLAUSE: The Sponsor agrees that the name, email and personal information will not be used for any other purpose than for communications and promotions from and by the Sponsor. Subscribers may "unsubscribe" at anytime.
10.) Downtown Community Television Center, Inc. (DCTV) reserves the right to remove any raffle ticket holder at its discretion.
